Late to the party as always. Discovering a new band a bit behind the curve.

I generally get into something new to me somewhat late in that band's career. This time I'm not too far behind.

 

Totally absorbed with Henge. So not my sort of thing but something clicked. The drummer really grooves and the shonky synth sounds are ace. AND, there is proper bass guitar in there some times. Bonus! Oh and a plasma ball hat? C'mon!

 

This is the one that grabbed me first. The cheese is strong but good

The drummer from my gig on Saturday was talking about them. They're playing locally to me supporting Gong. The drummer saw them earlier on the same tour and when they appeared on stage his heart dropped seeing the costumes, but he said they were excellent. I've watched a live set from Glastonbury on YouTube. Not 100% my thing but closer than most of the acts there. 🙂

Big fan. Saw them four times last year. They are playing in Brighton with Gong in March. Well worth a look. Here’s my favourite:
