Ander87 Posted Saturday at 20:40 Posted Saturday at 20:40 (edited) As usual Sire just slipped out the new basses ahead of NAMM! For 2026 we highlight * P7/V7/V7 vintage. "New Gen" takes over Gen 2 in what seems satin finish? I can't see much gloss there. New neck profile, colours and electronics. Consistency in weight, chambered bodies * Headless/headed top rsnge - F10 DX and X10 DX. How did Fodera not sure I do not know, but I love it. I'm assuming these will come at £1200 ISH £1500+ (thanks @MichaelDean)? Hard case and wooden covers and wooden ramp as accessory. * Other colour updates and edits, to note the Dingwall Nolly swirly finishes... https://www.sire-usa.com/pages/2026-marcus-miller-new-models What do you think? Mrbigstuff Posted Saturday at 20:47 Posted Saturday at 20:47 (edited) That F10 Dc is an awesome looking bass. Fantastic spec except for the dealbreaker that it is 35” scale length! What a shame. Good to hear they’re tackling weight as well as that’s the only downside to my V5. Edited Saturday at 21:29 by Mrbigstuff Confused F10 with F10 Dc 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted Saturday at 21:01 Posted Saturday at 21:01 These are gorgeous and the good news is the ramp seems to be removable. Quote

Yep wooden ramp added as an accessory for both F10 DX/DC 😊 Playing punk rock I've no business getting one of those F10 but still tempting. I somehow convinced myself I can rock a black headless M6 anyway 😂 The F10 could always be my soul 5 string "all else" genres bass right.... Right...? 😂 Ander. Quote
MichaelDean Posted Saturday at 21:36 Posted Saturday at 21:36 I reckon the F10 DX/DC will be more around £1600+. The current F10 is £1500 already. Quote

80Hz Posted Saturday at 23:04 Posted Saturday at 23:04 Fair play to them - they say they're responding to feedback, and they seem to have addressed many of the criticisms I've read and seen on YT etc. Obviously improved and more consistent weight is welcome. Looking at the V7s, I particularly like the new lighter (?) roasted maple look. I really like the Tide Pool, Mercury and Candy Apple Red finishes, also the V7 Vintage in Tobacco Sunburst (the yellow/off white fretboard dots are a nice aesthetic refinement). Also it could be my eyes but the binding looks slimmer on a lot of the new necks - almost more in proportion to the width of the frets. Interesting also we now have a V1 series, presumably to complete with Squier Affinity series, Fazley, HB, etc. All that seems to imply - and justify - price rises, in the same way as the Fender Standards paved the way for the MIMs to increase in price. 1 Quote
Cato Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) That F10DC is a huge aesthetic imorovement on their previous Fodera type single cut. Looks nicer than an actual Fodera. Edited 21 hours ago by Cato 3 Quote

The slanted silhouette makes it gorgeous and makes it standout from your Marusczyks and Cory/Ibanez Fauxdera vibes. Ander. 1 Quote
Gizmo Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago digging the F10 headless...might have been nice to see one as a 32" scale High C... Pretty sure the big F will be on the phone about those shapes ;) 1 Quote
