Beyerdynamic DT770 V Superlux HD-660 headphones

I got a set of Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80ohm headphones.

been waiting all xmas for them

could not wait to try them.

got them and just spent the day testing them

and.....

disappointed 😞

 

i can say from what im hearing they dont sound as good as the copys made by superlux for £32 !

seems more Clearer, more open stereo field, better top end. bass is better in the beyers though

 

Now it might be because they are colored but on testing them against my monitors

i have to say the cheap superlux are more correct to my monitor sound through tannoy and roland DS90s

it might be just what your use to i suppose, or there might be something wrong with them

so i will have to borrow a pair to see.

 

be interesting if anyone has heard these coming from the 770s to the hd660s

ok........ i lent a pair from a friend, and.....

totally different..

in my new pair in comparison there is like some phasing going on

so..... they are going back

will update this when i get them.
