BassTractor Posted Monday at 09:56 Posted Monday at 09:56 ... and a very prog Xmas to you! (Yeah, that thing's a classic already, and the thread title did indeed nearly give it away. A prog Xmas can only be this or Rick Wakeman in Santa's cape, and I prefer this.) 1 Quote
StickyDBRmf Posted Monday at 13:47 Posted Monday at 13:47 I remember staring at that cover for hours while tripping. Yeah it was snowing then, too. 3 Quote

Just crashing the thread I assume. Back on topic, I've been listening to Chris Squire's 'Swiss Choir' through December. Lovely arrangements of classic carols sung by a good choir of youngsters... with dirty great clanking Rickenbacker throughout and Chris' great voice too. Edited Monday at 19:47 by visog Quote
jonno1981 Posted Monday at 21:07 Posted Monday at 21:07 My old band did a proggy version of carol of the bells a while back. I hope this is ok to post. It’s the 1st song here: https://heightsuk.bandcamp.com/album/rarities 2 Quote

jonno1981 Posted yesterday at 19:38 Posted yesterday at 19:38 Thanks! Another recommendation: https://oceansize.bandcamp.com/track/walking-in-the-air It’s absolutely epic when the band kicks in. 1 Quote

I've listened to the rest of the album, and it's now on my list to get on the next Bandcamp Friday. Mark 1 Quote

We’ve got three albums to listen to that you can find on bandcamp, Spotify etc. It’s all instrumental, self produced, different themes, very prog and a bit pretentious 🤣 I really like From sea to sky and the 3rd one we put out on a label. “Phantasia on the high processions of the sun, moon and countless stars above”. All a bit silly. I miss the band a lot. Quote
