Status Graphite - CW2 - Genesis aurora with red LEDs £3850 Aberdeen

Hi folks. 
Thinking of selling my CW-2. According to Dawn @ Status - this was initially built/allocated for Chris Wolstenholme himself. Colour is Genesis Aurora - a brilliant purple/blue switch. It’s got red front LEDs too.

 

Dawn advised that they only made 2 other CW-2s in Genesis aurora finish, both were headless 5 strings with white LEDs. So, this apparently might be the only 4 string in this finish/LED combo to even exist. I can fire over the email from her too that confirms this. 
 

I absolutely love this bass, but I’m preferring my stingrays at the moment. It’s far too good to be left in a case. 

I can’t see any marks on it. The colour shift is amazing. 
 

Based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Happy to consider shipping (I have a few boxes left from recent purchases). Probs UK only I’m afraid. 
 

Given the above info and recent CW-2 sold prices - I’m thinking £3,850.

Makes me sad that someday in the near future we won't see any new Status like this, was always a goal to try and spec my own. 

 

Far too cash poor to afford this, but someone will be very lucky to get it!

If this was headless my brain would be frazzled ,and I would be very upset due to lack of funds at this particular time 🥵

It’s a Status and they are fantastic , as is this bass !  Keep this and sell the stingray instead 😁

Oh it’s absolutely glorious! When I opened the case to snap pics i did massively consider just keeping it. 
 

Still have another CW which won’t go anywhere! ☺️

Really nice looking bass I love that colour.

Mine isn’t a CW but it has the same pickup spacing. I think they just sound a little warmer than a S2.

Could potentially be open to Canadian Dingwalls to trade. Afterburner 1 or 2 or Z most likely!

Bump. As said, open to offers or trade. Could consider an NG2 or 3,  4 or 5 strings too potentially depending on colour. 😊

Showed my kids the LEDs, they thought it was cool.

I don't think this will be enough to swing me buying it 😂
