@JPJ interesting about putting out too much light - another band I know are using the Stairville CLB5 bar and saying it's too bright for audience and they have to point it upwards to ceiling! Was the iColor adjustable on brightness - doesn't seem to be an option with the Stairville?

 

I do like the more compact setup of the Stairville though, compared to our now long-in-the-tooth Chauvet Gigbar 2, and thinking of potentially getting a Stairville:

CLB2 to delivers a steady, clean white light for band on stage, and a 

CLB4 sound to light for dance floor

 

Which they can be set up to do without need for DMX. Still researching options though!
