Al Nico Posted Monday at 06:43 Posted Monday at 06:43 @upside downer "UFO, are you friend or foe?" That's a strong line. Nice guitar / bass arrangement. 1 Quote

lurksalot Posted yesterday at 19:08 Author Posted yesterday at 19:08 OK then no singing here then , definitely Ibanez 6 string through waves GTR 3 stomps , lots of compression and a lump of reaper reverb, simple EZ drums , some vocal 'ah' sounds off my digi piano, some keyboard synth with a waves GTR3 backwards effect, and ME with a bit of re-pitch adjustments, all done in Reaper with a splattering of Ozone 8 to put some life into it . 2 1 Quote
upside downer Posted yesterday at 20:08 Posted yesterday at 20:08 "The very big probe" 😄 I hope I don't absent-mindedly sing that out loud when I'm doing this week's big shop 🎵 1 Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted yesterday at 21:32 Posted yesterday at 21:32 Oh crap the deadline's tonight innit? Might make it, might be a bit late! Quote

Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Phew! Just made it in time. The playing and mix are a bit rough but it's kind of pop punk so I'm not too bothered. This is 'Aliens in the sky' by Jinky Fuzz. The bass is one of my daphne blue Fender JMJ mustang basses and there are two guitars - my Pelham blue Harley Benton DC-Junior FAT which has tone knob pulled out to put the single stacked P90 in humbucker mode, and my black Fender Telecaster custom switched to the wide-range humbucker pickup in the neck position. Both guitars were recorded from the usb output of my Fender GTX100 amp using a patch emulating a mesa/boogie IIc+ with a Boss DS-1. The organ is my Yamaha Reface YC. All the processing etc used logic's stock plugins. Edited 14 hours ago by Jean-Luc Pickguard 3 Quote
