I was wondering if anyone can recommend an accessory gig bag that will accomodate the following:

Class D head

3 x instrument cables

Speaker cables x2

IEC cable

Hercules mini-stand

4-way reel

Bass Bar stand (https://caswells-strings.co.uk/product/the-bass-bar-double-bass-stand/)

Ipad

Pockets for odds and sods such as picks, wireless, page turner, chargers etc etc....

I've found bags that will take most stuff, but it's the Bass Bar that causes problems!

Currently looking at stuff like this: https://www.thomann.co.uk/flyht_pro_gorilla_soft_case_gac410.htm

But I'm finding it hard to visualise how much stuff fits in one.

This looks like it might be good, but could be too big:

Basically at the moment I carry three separate bags/cases plus the instrument/s, and it'd be good to reduce that down to one if possible!

All recommendations gratefully received.

Currently carrying assorted leads, a TC BAM200, a tablet or two, a tablet holder, a spare T-shirt, and my other smaller bag with wirelesses, batteries, tools etc which I use for open mics as well as gigs.

Thanks - will take a look.

I have tried numerous things and eventually bit the bullet and got one of these.

It's bigger, but on wheels. A bit of an outlay but has proved worth it.

Hmm, not looking for a hardcase ATM but worth bearing in mind if I change it!

I use the Access FX1 bag and it is superb. Would easily fit all of your kit apart from possibly the bass bar stand?  Hard to find in the UK though I think.

What about the Thomann Producer or Accessory Bag Pro. They look decent.

That Access bag looks handy - quiite spendy though!

The Producer backpack might be worth a look! I've seen the Accessory Bag but don't know how it works out size-wise - that one looks quite big to me.

It's strange, they're a properly niche product but there must be a market out there for a proper bass player's gig bag!

I own a Producer backpack and I can put my HeadRush Core in one pocket and a huge laptop with a big A3 size book (yes A3) in the two inside "pockets" plus a volume control pedal in the side pocket, loads of cables and accessories in the front pocket, a smartphone in the other side pocket, ... so a lot of things.

And it's easy to handle or wear on your back.

Given the thing that appears to be dictating the dimensions of said bag may be the double-bass stand, I would always advocate looking at Gator bags.  Their website is nightmarish from a navigational/user perspective (Come on, guys!  It's 2025.  Do better!).

That said, a search on Andertons and Gator throws up plenty of stuff.  I think it's more a case (no pun) of finding something that suits sizewise, rather than discounting something that purports to, for instance, be a keyboard bag.

Yep, Gator was one of my first ports of call but I gave up as their website is unnavigable!

I’ll take a look on Andertons, thanks.
