Cheat sheet app for ipad

I'm going to need a few cheat sheets for my newest gig, just to prompt me a few things like,

Set List

which bass to use (different tunings)

and a few notes, how many bars the intro is, etc

 

I use Stage trax for my duo but not sure what else to use

 

I have an irig blueboard to turn pages

 

your thoughts please

We’ve used forScore with my duo for years with no problems whatsoever.
A one time purchase , think it’s around £15 but well worth it IMO.

I tried a few and now I use Song Book Pro.

It's pretty cheap, around $7, and has some nice features while still easy to use.

We have Android and iOs-users in my bands and it works on both.

Forscore for me too.

I just jam notes and lyrics in a pdf and put the pages in order of the set, works a treat.

I've been using DeepDish's GigBook for years now. It's a really simple app and doesn't "do" a lot of features that other apps have, but for dep gigs and the like, it's enough.

I'm another Songbook Pro user. I hand write my notes and upload them as PDFs, then organise by band and by gig.

I use forScore - currently with about 600 tunes on it.  Generally it's very good, but can get a bit confused if you have several iPads on the same account. I think it's free now, but yes there's an upgrade to 'pro' but that doesn't give a lot more.

Interesting - we must have 3000+ tunes on it, and it’s never failed at all. Although we only use a couple

of iPads with the duo, my guitarist pal uses a few iPads with forScore on his many gigs with varying band sizes,

and I haven’t heard him saying he’s had any problems. ( The version we use was the paid for one, I don’t 

remember there being a free version but then again we’ve used it for years so thing may have changed.) 😊
