Glad I checked! Speaking of stands - and who isn't these days? - I have this 3-slot Tiger stand going spare to anyone who's interested - no money will change hands. I'll bring it along on Saturday. EDIT: This stand has found a new forever home. It's going to live on a farm far away. Edited yesterday at 18:00 by peterjam Item claimed :) 3 Quote
rwillett Posted yesterday at 20:03 Author Posted yesterday at 20:03 Food now sorted. I've arranged for a special tea delivery for @ossyrocks from Farrers Tea & Coffee merchants in Kendal, they're sending a local van just for me, and a local dairy farm has helped chip in with milk. The village hall will be open from around 08:00 for people to get in. Will anybody apart from myself (and possibly @neepheid) be coming at that time? The intention is to finish around 16:00 (ish) as I have to be in York later than evening. Rob 4 Quote

Marvelous, thank you sir! 🤣 I expect to be there around 10 ish Quote

I may need to borrow this on Saturday before it goes to its new owner, if that's OK with the new owner. Ordered some stands last week but it is unclear if they will arrive in time Quote

bagsieblue Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Change of plans this weekend, so sadly can’t make it now. Quote
nekomatic Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I’m guessing I’ll be able to get there around 10, and will need to push off at 3ish. I can bring a spare stand which anyone is welcome to borrow until I need to take it away again. Looking forward to meeting you all, and your basses! Quote

I'm really looking forward to seeing some stunning instruments and renewing old friendships. 2 Quote
Richard R Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This is splendid! Looking forward to seeing all the pictures. I might have to post pics of me weeding the garden, repairing the heat-cracked plaster in the conservatory, unblocking the drain at my daughter's house, and weeping into my beer that I missed all the fun. 😭 1 Quote
zbd1960 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I should be able ot be there for 10 - I can be earlier if any help is required to set-up as it's about an hour from here. Quote

Ron All help welcomed but it's chairs and tables so it's not a.massive amount of work. However it would be good to see you and you then get the advantage of an empty (ish) hall to play in 😊 I have asked if the lady I jam with will come and bring her mobile drum kit. Her main drum kit appears to be larger than John Bonhams set from LZ 😊 Quote
neepheid Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Right, it looks like I've been screwed over on the stands front. Despite me paying for first class postage, vendor used RM Tracked 48, a 2-3 day service and I just got the email from RM to tell me they'll deliver them... tomorrow. FFS. Which means I'm 4 stands short. @peterjam - could I please hijack the triple stand you were offering before it goes to its new owner? @rwillett - I know you mentioned spare stands, but I think @ossyrocks already asked for spare stands so maybe you could help him out with yours? Cheers folks, see you tomorrow! Quote
rwillett Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago @neepheid We'll take everything I can find in the house. We'll make it work one way or another. Rob Quote
neepheid Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago HA! Stand down emergency, if you'll pardon the pun. Plan B came through unexpectedly well. I have all the stands I need now. Massive shout out to my local, friendly, independent guitar shop - Ramjam in Aberdeen who had the exact stands I was looking for - not in their official inventory but bought for their own purposes but not used. Sold them to me especially. Great bunch of lads. See you tomorrow! 5 Quote
