I always take pictures of my basses on the wooden floor, but I made an exception for this duo when the light was perfect:

Both are early 00's Warwick Streamer LX's. Solid flamed maple body, chunky ovangkol neck with wenge fingerboard, and the stock MEC electronics. The 5-string had its worn gold hardware replaced with black.

Recent g&l l2000 (Tribute)

Sire M2 5str. My first nice 5er bought on here

Chowny Retrovibe.  also ex BC Massive

G&L Fallout Tribute.

If standing to play Retrovibe and M2 are agreeably light.

The fretless HB and fender Jazz look very nice 👍

I've said it so many times but that fretless Harley Benton is a fantastic bass. The US Jazz is lovely too, pictures don't do the colour justice and the neck feels fantastic.

After having had many many basses, these are the keepers and the elixir of bass !

Bass 1

ACG custom 5 string, 2nd and 5 owner 🤣. This had really light strings on it the first time I had it and I didn't think of changing them, just didn't get the sound out of it I wanted. Second time round put new thicker gauge on it as soon as I had it back and it was a completely different beast. Blooming love it now.

Bass 2

Fender Jazz bitza, 1968 original neck , body unknown if real been messed with a lot. 1976 / 1982 pickups / newish John east pre. Sounds awesome.

BITBY those sandbergs are awesome - the fretless is one of the best I've ever played.

Basses I would like to have back

1 ) Anaconda 4 string fretless ( owned by BITBY also)

2) mayones Jabba custom 4string ( same as profile pic but lefty)  / sold this on Ebay and the guy still has it - he has refused every year since to sell it back to me probably 15 years ago!  🤣

If anyone knows where the Anaconda is please let me know

Wow thanks for that.

That is double what I sold it for, I like it but not that much 🤣

It always has been a strange market. Buying from main land Europe is just not a option anymore it seems. Such a shame.

It a nice bass but don't think it's going to sell at that price 😂

And it's out on the sofa right now... I'm moving house soon and starting to get scared of all the stuff I need to buy. Might be making some tough decisions on scaling back music gear. The HB was so cheap new it's probably not even worth selling. But the JC might go, and a lot of effects, and my electric guitar... Keeping the dog though.

I wish they did a 5 string in the HB fretless

I also have a Jack Cassidy I never play it but it's got a great tone with flats

Agreed! I tried tapewounds first expecting them to sound great, it came with rounds but I didn't like that...Maruszczyk flats and it's heaven. I've even slapped it a little with those on!
