Ā Off I set on my little searchā¦found via the Shergold owners group on Facebook. Ā Original 1980 case too. Ā its very clean overall with some edge marks. Ā Not bad for 44 years old. Iāve owned many over the years including double necks and 8 strings I expect yours wonāt have the lacquer cracking that most suffer from. Looks great!Ā Yeah - under the truss Rod cover is a stamp finishing in 80, meaning itās one of the later ones - no flaky finish, and a ālong hornā - pretty cool. Ā There were some of these bodies still knocking about until a few years ago apparently.
