Programming the preamplifier is an intuitive and straightforward process. The user can store 69 programmes comprising of input level, 7-band graphic equalisation and compression settings, and switch them via any MIDI-compatible pedal to achieve an exceptional degree of live performance control on stage.

Slight scratching as shown on pictures. Its never missed a beat when I've gigged it but I've got several amps and a clear out has begun. Apparently the side casings can be removed to reduce weight and running temperature.

Case is in good shape but with a few minor scratches.

Postage an option at buyers expense and risk.

P/ex Sire, Sterling, (WHY) bass, plus cash?

I had one of these..... Some of those presets were well suited to a Precision with flats!

Very versatile amps.

I also had one, acquired used.

I've never seen the accompanying cab for sale though.

I had one of these with a 4x8 and 2x8 superfly cabs AGES ago... genuinely was a great rig and a bit of a game-changer at the time in terms of lightweight rigs.

I had one of these and it had the best DI sound out of all the bass amps I've ever owned.

I'm a little bit tempted but I'm pretty happy with my lightweight TC combo these days

GLWTS.

I have the Windows software if anyone needs it, which allows you to program the equaliser as a parametric EQ. I did suggest to Ashdown that they make the preamp available as a standalone pedal for the preset EQs (same as the much later Source Audio programmable EQ), but sadly they didn't do it.

You can indeed take the amp out of the enclosure, which does make it rather lighter. I've had both the Superfly and the Superduperfly (1000W version) - the one issue was that the power amp is actually two power amps with no provision to bridge them.
