dmccombe7 Posted July 14, 2023 Share Posted July 14, 2023 Came across the amazing Mark Clarke playing the Heep song WHY with tribute band Heep Freedom and confirmed my original suspicions that it wasn't Gary Thain because it sounded more like a Gibson EB3 that Mark tended to use back then.. Great band and a great version from Mark This also goes to show that your tone comes from your fingers as Mark is actually using a P bass in this one.
