Just been announced. Meant to be an exact replica of the original Mutron. Set to be around £100 but no word about release date yet which may be some time.

I think there are some other clones in the pipeline possibly ahead of this but I know some suggested that Behringer should do this to follow up on their Mutron Octave Divider they released last year.

A lot of the articles about new Behringer products in development seem to be lifted from social media but miss out a key element. Which is they are openly trying to work out how many people might want to buy it.
In this case on Instagram they end with “What’s your interest?”

Which is a bit more of a commitment than the Mooger Fooger post which clearly says it’s a prototype and asks for feed back “before we manufacture it”

I think it’s a great approach.

And the clones all look very cool.

I've got two-thirds of a Mutron III in my attic, where it's been for years waiting for me to rebuild it.  Sod's Law says that when I investigated it last week with a view to actually getting it going it made this happen.

I think the originals will always be worth fixing and keeping hold of. What’s happened to yours?

I think a family of ravenous hamsters lived in it for a while, and somewhere along the line the back half of the casing went walkabout.  I inherited it as a project and haven't done much with it yet.  That said, I'm beginning to think about getting it up and running, at which point I'll give it back to the original owner.

Possibly, testing the water - but the Octave Divider and Bi-Phase came out fairly suddenly and I didn’t think the former was especially popular even in the original format.
