Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted September 27, 2022 Share Posted September 27, 2022 The fake decals make it look cheap when the imprint of the real decal is still showing, and this should probably reduce the value. It is ridiculous to put 'Made in USA' on an indonesia built bass as that makes it look like the decals were applied to deceive a purchaser rather than to make it look more 'proper' at a gig. A couple of times I was cheated on the authenticity of goods and money transfers, it was very frustrating (although it was a long time ago). In fact, I was much less savvy in the Internet and financial areas, so it was pretty easy to get cheated. My salvation was the financial blog https://askwallet.io/wirex.
