This is lovely. Whats the dealio with the brand? I'm guessing it's Japanese?

They're late 80s/early 90s Korean, made by Young-Chang, who at the time had the Squier contract. Essentially Fenix Fender copies were higher spec versions of the Squiers they were making at the time, re-branded and (occasionally) with slightly different headstock shapes. Needless to say Fender took umbrage at this, removed the Squier contract & exerted pressure on Young-Chang to cease production.

So they're almost 'lawsuit' copies, very good & quite scarce, meaning there's starting to be a bit of a collector's market.
