I know a bit about Wandre from my adventures in vintage guitar shenanigans - they're incredibly rare & collectable 60s Italian exotica, as much period art as musical instruments.

Not to my taste, but I've always hoped one would turn up at the local car boot for a tenner - they look like that sort of thing.

Fwiw the Etrurian here is by far one of their more restrained designs, and at the current bid (£470-odd) would be a ridiculous bargain. Check this:

Very odd looking things I remember seeing a few of the Wandre/Davoli instruments in some old guitar books.

I thought that there were some chancers on eBay but some of the prices on Reverb are bonkers! Vastly inflated - I’ll bet there are some very disappointed buyers out there and very happy sellers....that’s if anything ever sells.

It looks like some old Italian (possibly Mexican) cabinet maker had a few bits and bobs left over from a bespoke bedroom suite build 😂😂😂

I'm sure I've seen it in a few Spaghetti Westerns!

I like odd basses. But I dont care how rare that is, I wouldnt use it to hammer in a fencepost let alone play it.🤢🤮
