Recommended Posts

I couldn't resist spoiling my self 😁

So I bought a Hyper Luminal Compressor & an Alpha Omega Ultra

Both are awesome,I'm very happy & also very skint now.

I also treated myself to Hyper Luminal for Christmas.

I'm running similar settings though currently have the FET mode selected.  I need to play with the other two compressor models.

I'm still experimenting with it but so far I like BUS & FET modes,I find the SYM mode a bit too dark for me.

I am loving the pedal though, very happy both of my purchases

I've not tried the B7K so I can't comment.

Sorry.

But I do love the AOU

Thanks anyway. What style do you play? I need distortion for a metal band, guitar/bass/drums/sinth...

I'm in a Black Sabbath covers band so i use heavy distortion on certain tunes & the AOU replaced two other pedals.

If you check out my other posts on here we recorded a Sabbath tune a few weeks back,my bass tone on that is total killer.

For a bit more modern sound pick the B7K...It's more midrangie and cuts better through the mix.I have the B3K and it's phenomenal for ultra punchy drive sound.Especially if you use a compressor before the distortion...

Cheers
