Traded - Pedulla Thunderbolt 5
£895

Recommended Posts

Sale - £795 (trade £825)

Playing situation has changed and to be honest I'm looking to go back to a more traditional tone so selling this lovely Pedulla Thunderbolt 5, hand-built in 1993 by Michael Pedulla.

Specs:

Body - Alder

Neck - maple

Scale - 34"

Pickups - Bartolini soapbars

Preamp - Bartolini TC4

String spacing is 17.5mm at the bridge and 46mm across at the nut.

Condition overall is good for an instrument of this age. Just a few minor blemishes, mainly above the pups and a little on the back. You have to hold the bass at an angle to the light to see them.

Note, there is slight crackle on the balance pot when turning from the middle position towards the bridge pickup.

My weight scales are bust at present, but this is one of the lightest basses I have ever played; I would be stunned if it was over 8.5Ibs.

Comes with hard case.

Open to trades for  5 string.

Thanks. I'm in no rush to see it gone so will wait for the right offer (ie not a straight trade for a £500 bass!)

By the looks of the controls I’m assuming this is passive? If so I will have to have a damn good think and perhaps launder funds away from the wife through the Bank of Mum & Dad..

It is active, but the controls are the same as a passive bass. In use, it's effectively a boosted passive.

You'd think, but the market seems slow. Actually thinking about keeping it and doing some mods.

Maybe love for some SG type? :drinks:

Thanks for the offer, but not really what I'm looking for.
