Precision Bass Pick-guard - White or Black?

Yeah, me too. I dislike white pickguards, unless on white basses or reds, blues and green basses (probably a few other colours).

Black/black/rosewood always looks classy though.

Well, after all that I decided NOT to paint the bass black, was 100% sure that was what i wanted (same with the Alembic i a, selling) the black pick-guard arrived and i just tried it on the existing sunburst body, and I love it! Saves messing about with the paint and so can always return it to original if I sell etc -

The best choice Nick. I think black basses with rosewood necks def favour tort pick-guards. Black basses with maple, well black pick-guards are the fave there, though have to say, tort is [b]very[/b] close second.
