Lovely bass George and a damn good price.

I'm assuming you've set this up with very low action, as your set ups are legendary.

The Japanese ones seemed to be mainly pushing boat anchor territory, many being 10lb plus.

I briefly had one of these Mex ones (in a stunning sunburst) and it was significantly lighter than any Japanese one I'd had.

So, just one question really, what is the weight please?

Good price. My mex geddy lee is the only one of my 4 strings that I still use, they are great

Do my eyes deceive me or is that bridge pickup in the 60s position? I thought all the Geddy's had it a bit further back in the 70s position, bang in line with the tone control. Perhaps they've changed them?

Just looked at mine, a 2012 one, and my pickup is further back

spoke to fender today yes it was a design change due to the new hardware, they worked with Geddy Lee and decided they put new Vintage pups on the 2015 model and decided the bass sounded better with the bridge pickup moved forward 3/8 of an inch, so there you go lol.
