Jazzneck Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 My son has got me and him tickets to see Eric Clapton at the RAH in May. His 70th. birthday celebration gigs apparently. The last time I saw Mr Clapton live in the UK was at the same venue, Creams farewell concert 26th. November 1968. This is likely to be an interesting night out. What is weird, is that if you click to buy a ticket on Ticketmaster, it directs you to a partner site for inflated tickets for sale. Why are they not getting done for touting? A drummer mate of mine took a photo of Eric doing his own roadying, carrying his Les Paul in one hand and his Marshall combo in the other. The drummer mate still has the photo which he will not publish. Miserable git. "Have You Heard?" was absolutely stunning.
