By the way, the reason I bought my Squier Deluxe Jazz Active was I'd read that more than a few people (mostly over on Talkbass) said it blew away far more expensive basses! I much prefer the tuners 4 and 1 too compared to 5 in a row Fender 5s, I like maple, I like blocks,I like jazz basses, I like oly white, I like 5 strings,I like black pickguards and I like chromes knobs....so it was in for a chance of me liking it! [/quote] Yes true I do but it still keeps up with them in terms of feel and playability. And just because it's a massive fraction of the price compared to my other two jazzes doesn't mean that it's terrible! As the neck has made it an easy jump from 4 to 5. [/quote] Very nicely thankyou! It's obvisously less money than my fenders but playing it you wouldn't realise it as it feels 2x price it should be!! It's a beautiful playing bass!!
