Selling my used and much loved American Special Precision.

It's a smashing bass, but I've recently got a Tony Franklin P so it's not been getting the love it deserves. It's got a Fender grease bucket tone circuit that sounds pretty nice, a slimmer neck that is really comfortable. I've got it slung with some D'addario Pro steels and also fitted a Hipshot Xtender. It's well used and has a few dinks and a lot of pick evidence. I also still have the original white scratch plate as well!

Looking for £450 but I'm open to offers + part ex's for pedals such as DOD Meatbox and synths

Lovely bass. What does the Special refer to? Is it a jazz width neck?

EDIT: I should read. Slimmer neck sounds good - similar to a jazz?

I wouldn't compare the next to a jazz neck, it's slimmer back to front with a P nut. I find this really comfortable!

Will get back to all your PMs tonight once I'm home from work

ALL pm's replied to.

I do apologise for the lack of responses as I've been working/rehearsing/gigging and doing everything and anything in-between!

Regarding the dinks on the bass, they are all within 5mm, there's 3 main offenders:

1. half a inch from the bridge under the A string
2. On the back of the body 2 inches from the contour
3. On the back again, near the small horn showing a bit of wood

Just so everyones aware and for my own piece of mind!
