much appreciated, i really got a great sound today at practice. Cut right through the mix without being at all harsh. Although guitarists then decided for once to play quiet and lost its edge unfortunately :) not the basses fault the setup i had just sounded alot better louder.

Much experimenting to be had!

Just seen the pics [url="http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Gallery/194/"]here[/url] and it's a stunning instrument.

I didn't realise that the green would be not just on the front and back of the body, but in the maple in the neck as well. I might need to get out more, but I've never seen a bass with that before :rolleyes:

Now only if it was 5 string.... Hmmm :)

yeah the coloured stringers were an idea. Ties the hole bass together nicely imho.

Dont worry already speccing up the next one... More than 4 strings next time too.

But need a new car and a house first. Maybe new amp too.... Overtime here i come!
