CDs you dont listen to (Part Two). A solution?

Just an idea. If we all have cds we dont listen to any more (I have hundreds!), why not swap them on this forum? We could list the ones we want to swap, then on the basis of one in, one out, swap however many with members who have interesting ones to trade on their swap list. First come first served of course, with each member paying his postage charges (which theoretically should be the same). Has this idea got any legs?

sounds like a fine idea Bob. I'm in.

Might be able to get rid of some of my wifes dodgy old choices :)

I'm in Gary - I'll swap you some of my wifes equally dodgy ones for some of your wifes...

Doesn't need to be on a swap basis. A "pay it forward" system (like Freecycle) can work well. IOW, you offer N CDs to the board and request n back. It does require some honesty on the part of members (so that N=n) but if the CDs were only going to end up in a charity shop or, worse, landfill it's surely not a big problem if someone has n slightly more than N?
