Cat Burrito Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 Not sure why you didn't get a response but I put flats on a few acoustic basses and it really wakes up the bass in my experience. Beer of the Bass Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 Tapewounds might be nice, although I don't own an acoustic bass guitar. Greggo Posted November 3, 2013 Author Share Posted November 3, 2013 I ended up going with Status Hot wires in the end they seem highly praised. I'm actually tempted to try flats myself on one of my basses, have little experience using them, only that when I did play them they felt nice on the fingers but they sound good though!
