No trades, need the £[s]1750[/s] back. Now £[s]1700[/s] [s]£1650[/s] £1600
This came up for sale only last week and I knew it would be a first to respond sale and I couldn't resist finding out so I bought it as it was an easy drive to collect.

Amazingly nice bass, stupendously light (it literally feels like a toy), it will take a setup so low it highlights my utter lack of technique and the quality all round is just spot on. I've oiled the fingerboard with quite a lot of fret doctor as it was very dry and its now back to a lovely dark chocolatey brown. Other than that its exactly as it was a couple of days ago, which is to say excellent condition.

I've realised there is only a need for one fretted P bass in my life and my Pino is not easy to beat. I'm quite thankful really as I was going to sell all sorts of stuff to recover my Sadowsky NYC but the same thing applies - I know if I got it back I'd still prefer the Pino for P bass-ness. So I've learned something by the process for a change :)

Collection preferred but I can courier at buyers expense.

Didn't expect this back up for sale so quick! :o

And I didn't expect it to be for sale for so long - slightly worried now, I thought these were in higher demand. They should be, its an amazing bit of craftsmanship.

Ouch! Could be worse mate, I bailed out of mine 3 months before the exams :)
To be honest I'm starting to think I can justify 2 P basses anyway because this is just too nice to get rid of so I might withdraw it anytime soon.
In fact, here it is now (I've been playing it tonight)

any trades?

I have been considering that option - I guess vintage Fenders might be of interest or a Custom Shop Jazz. No ash/maple slap machines though

my lull P4 destroys any other P i have tried.....

never tried a Pino though... ;)

This one is very much the equal of my Pino, but with so much history related to the Pino I can't bring myself to sell that (again). Pics updated with some nicer hi-res ones.

I'm struggling with this concept as well - took it to rehearsal Sunday night and it sounded awesome. Really full and punchy. I'll use it for another week or 2 at this rate and maybe reconsider my plans.
