Thanks Andy. This years Warwick Limited Edition is also a Thumb bolt on, but no maple board. Thomann have one in for just over £2900.
I've not had one offer of trade or to buy. Stunning, superbly made rare bass but seems Warwick are really struggling on BC even the rare ones.

With the Thumb being a lot of Maple with Swamp Ash, it is of course a bit brighter but that chest thumping Thumb noise is in there. Especially bright top end as I have just put some new strings on
However, it has typical deep Warwick growl. Volume is push/pull for active/passive. Pup pan with me is nearly always round to the front pup. With bass and treble actives full on it is bloody thunderous. More pissed off P than Jaco, but obviously with amp/eq, most things can be coaxed out of it. Quite nice for chain saw murderer power chords though
It is a very light bass and very well balanced, just didn't realise with 24 frets I don't know where I am on the 'board half the time.
It is a lot of money, but they don't come up often. Despite the deflated prices of Warwicks on Basschat, it's a purdey thing to have on a stand behind me at gigs in case of a broken string. And I will happily do that rather than lose a lot on it.

Tom, I do think you would like it. Very light, well balanced, great action and neck and beautifully crafted in Germany.
In light of other stuff, perhaps I should have put the trade value somewhat higher. But, I didn't and I won't . If I have comparatively undervalued it, so be it.
i paid £1100 for it, happy for that to be the trade value, or £1000 cash.

Sorry, bit of a naughty bump, but been thinking about this. In the absence of any really firm offers, going to put this on FEEBay tomorrow night I think. Would strongly conside offers of Jazz or P, with cash possible either way. Or even the bass that has no name
It will go on there at a higher cash price to cover costs.
Thought I'd take them out just to show they are perfectly giggable. Milnrow WMC last night. Same rig and basses will be used for the Rock The Lakes Festival tomorrow.
