It's bizarre isn't it

Evening all,

After starting what seemed a relatively pleasant (albeit cold) day, things took a turn.

I ended my day receiving some very upsetting news (on a grand scale it is pathetic as it was relationship related...damn you females and your treacherous ways). Either way, the point of the thread remains the same regardless of circumstance.

When ever, I have any bad news, or a bad day, or a you get the picture. My primary thought is the same...at least I have my bass. To me, this simple (leave it at that please), in-animate object. Acts as much more than that. Through it, we can truly portray our emotions, a vent when no one is around. It can raise spirits and confidence through playing, and the reactions of anyone that views us.

Reading it back, it sounds peculiar, but I know what I mean, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here, that's had "one of those days" and thought, I just want my bass.

Cheers,

James

Yup, I recognise that. When my ex said bye, I thought like "at least I have my music".
Soon after, I got me a dog and a bass, and today, if something was to strike, I'd be all "at least I have my dog and my bass".

Wish you all the best, especially for the nearest weeks and months. Life will look better at some point.

all the best,
bert
