darren1970 Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Just though I'd pop in and say hello. I've played bass for over 25 years ( although have'nt played in a band for ages ). I've been a lifelong sufferer of bass G.A.S. but recently seem to have found my holy grail ( A Genz Benz Streamliner 600 and Genz Benz Uber 2x12 cab ). Bass wise I've played everything from Status to Ibanez, Warwick and Spector. At the moment I'm currently in love with a pair of Gibson Thunderbirds ( I know they're like Marmite, you either love em or hate em ). Looking forward to browsing the forums. If you have suffered from gas in the past then I'd advise you to stay well clear of the marketplace, before long you'll have forgotten all about your Thunderbirds and ended up with a Jaydee!
