I believe these reissues were only made for a couple of years, so may well be sought after in years to come. I'll include a brand new and boxed Seymour Duncan 'Vintage' pick-up; it wasn't bought for this bass (was to be fitted to a 'Sting' bass) as the pup sounds excellent but it gives you the option if you want to swap around. This model has the more comfortable forearm contouring.

Just to confirm that the bass comes with the stock pup AND a brand new boxed Seymour Duncan 'Vintage' jobbie AND a brand new sealed pkt of D'Addario strings.

thanks for the confirmation. I'll be honest, I was sitting wondering that,

Just like mine - so it'll be light and very , very playable. Mine's out every weekend while my 73 Precision and my Shuker stay home. That says something about the quality of it.

If it wasn't for the fact that I have one I'd have this one - so you should instead. Imortality awaits the new owner who will at least be remembered by Joe Punter as 'some bloke with a flowery bass' - which is a step up for most of us !

Bump for a gent (no, not you Dave ;) )

Cheers. ;)

<edit>

Just to say that I've used the spare set of strings that I have to freshen another bass of mine so the bass is sold as is with no spare strings.

At the risk of sounding rude..... can this be deflowered if you wanted to buy it....?

For goodness sake these are rare enough without abusing them :P

No 'flower power' love?

I have lots of love for these basses.
As previous people have mentioned , these are really well built basses with a very versatile tone and the bass is also nice and light !

I have a pink one and I'm almost tempted to have this to make the set :D
