warwickhunt
Manufacturer: Fender Model: Precision ('54 reissue 'Flower Power') Country of origin: Japan Body: Basswood (...I think!) Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Maple Pick-ups: Original Preamp: N/A Hardware: Original. Bridge - Thrubody. Tuners - reverse Finish: Original Case/Gigbag: N/A but could add 'new' Fender C&G at used cost Extras: N/A Weight: 8lb 10oz Positives: Excellent condition. No worming or dings other than a 2-3mm one near the jack socket. Recessed output socket replaced. Negatives: See above; socket replaced for better quality and non-recessed type. Price: [s]£500[/s] £450 I believe these reissues were only made for a couple of years, so may well be sought after in years to come. I'll include a brand new and boxed Seymour Duncan 'Vintage' pick-up; it wasn't bought for this bass (was to be fitted to a 'Sting' bass) as the pup sounds excellent but it gives you the option if you want to swap around. This model has the more comfortable forearm contouring. Edited April 3, 2013 by warwickhunt
Bassman Rich
Great looking and playing basses, I have the Pink Paisley one, and unlike all of my Precisions and Gibson Ripper, its a F***y magnet at gigs, unlike the fat old grumpy bassist who plays it

Dr.Dave
Just like mine - so it'll be light and very , very playable. Mine's out every weekend while my 73 Precision and my Shuker stay home. That says something about the quality of it. If it wasn't for the fact that I have one I'd have this one - so you should instead. Imortality awaits the new owner who will at least be remembered by Joe Punter as 'some bloke with a flowery bass' - which is a step up for most of us ! [/quote] I have lots of love for these basses. As previous people have mentioned , these are really well built basses with a very versatile tone and the bass is also nice and light !
