Just seen this over on another forum :D. Don't know whether the seller is optimistic or genuinely barking.
Could be a very nice rig.......

That blurb doesnt actually make sense. Did he buy the one he was shown or not, after he'd been 'bought' to the warehouse ?

Why would he "like to talk to him" ? Is he dead, missing ? moved to Antarctica? taken a vow of silence ?

found on Wiki
Amps made by Mr. Dumble reportedly sell new for more than $20,000. Given the small output from Dumble, used Dumble amps often sell for more than $30,000

NB: Wiki page Howard Dumble

Have to admit never heard of the guy till today. Interesting wiki page, especially the bit about him hiding his circuitry in opaque epoxy. Sneeky! :)

Well Mr. F. At the end of that vid, there is a further selection, one entitled Alexander Dumble plays guitar. The other chap decides to demonstrate the "stutter"effect.
I wish to insert his guitar up his anal tract after about 6 seconds  .

If that's Alexader Dumble in the video then it can't be the same Dumble who built the $50,000 amp can it?

He looks about 35 (prime age for a trailer park serial killer...) to me.

If the amp was built by HOWARD Dumble, and that vid is of ALEXANDER Dumble, then it probably isn't the same person. :)

I think his christened name was Alexander but he was called Howard, According to the Wiki thats what it seems anyway
.Dumble musical instrument amplifiers are custom manufactured in very limited numbers by Alexander "Howard" Dumble of Los Angeles, California. Dumble began making amplifiers in the late 1960s in Santa Cruz.
(my guess on that video is that it was recorded approx 1987 any advance of that ? :) )

Ah, ok. 's funny, I've got a mate called Howard but who hates his name. I bet he'd be amazed to hear that someone had chosen to take on that name!
