winterfire666 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 got this off ebay, i hadnt heard of them before but for £300 it was worth a go. it plays like a dream, fast slim neck, extremley low action, mint condition not a single mark on it. custom dimarzios and a 2 band eq, beautiful quilted maple top. its extremly well balanced and lightweight too and tonally it is a monster, i would even go so far as to say its one of the nicest basses i have ever played. has anyone else had any experience with palm bay basses? it would be interesting to know. Some history here: http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/basses/palmbay.htm There were only 12 made, in Korea, this one has all Gotoh hardware. Quite a rare beast.
