He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Dana, daughter Krystal, sister Mellena Carlyss, his grandmother Frances Reaves, uncle Jerry Reaves and aunt Jean Reaves from Arizona, uncle Earl Carlyss and family of Westport, Connecticut, uncle Gerry Carlyss and family of Plumington, Indiana and so many fans and friends. He was a multi-instrumental musician, but his main love was playing the bass guitar and singing. In his early years, his music had placed him touring internationally, working with ABC Dunhill with name acts such as The Grass Roots, The Coasters, The Drifters, Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs, The Association, John Kay and Steppenwolf and Wild Cherry. Just spotted this one has a 'smaller jazz bass neck' I didn't even know such a thing existed on a Ray! Of course I have no idea about prices on old Rays - is £1,550 a good price or just general 'market value'?
