I'm a day away (when I'm paid) form pulling the trigger on an Ashdown MAG 300H EVO II and matching 210 Cab, (at a later date adding a 410 as well). From what I've heard and read these amps give a good clean tone, but I don't always want a clean tone So, are there any pedals about that will add just a bit of grit? I don't want full on fuzz, I have that covered with my ME 20B, but said pedal cannot do grit. If it makes any difference my main instruments are an MIM P bass and a Vintage EJM 96 (Jazz copy). thodrik Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 I ended up going with the Aguilar Agro recently as I got tired of doing repair works on the English Muff'n. Good pedal, adds a bit of grit and can do some good full on fuzz too. Could do with a blend mind, but nice for a bit of grit that doesn't colour your sound as much as the Sansamp Bass Driver, which is also a great pedal.
