    yes i suppose with the now easy access to the world wide web thing all the info about what stuff is wort is just there in front of them within a few seconds rather than years ago having to go through books or find someone who would know about that sort of stuff! shame really1

    It looks ok but i dont think it would rest against my amp very well with the big point on the bottom!

    I wouldnt put myself down as a number one queen fan although i do stick some on sometimes when doing the hoovering , but have to admit another one bites the dust bass line is such a classic recognizable one that you could play it to the average joe in the street and regardless of there musical knowledge or upbringing they would know what it was . its just one of those bass lines!

    Sure there will be no slapping going on jean luc just good old Rnb i recon lol! same thing happened to me with old v dubs ,too many shows with engines reving and ice and only so many nice splitscreens you can look at before they all start to look the same !

    Well thanks for all the good advice guys ,as usual . i tried my local music shop today but they didnt have any 5s to try so will look elsewhere i think as wouldnt mind trying a few out.

    I was having a ponder what it would be like playing a 5 string after being used to 4 for so many years , never actualy tried one but was wondering what you guys think who have gone from 4 to 5 ? is it really strange or does it come pretty natural? what ya think?

    Just decided to let my bass go its a lovely paduck red aria pro 2 sb 1000 1982 vintage , it looks feels and plays like a dream in pasive but when in active mode just makes a distorted buzz , i have played it in pasive mode since i got it and it still sounds amazing . its got some belt marks at the back and a little clear coat missing round the jack and a ding behind 5th fret on back of neck but apart from that all good which is not bad for its age really ! i will get some pics up tonight but just thought i would get this on now to see if anyone was interested i am looking for £500 i am based in cornwall liskeard area and my partner travels to somerset most weeks chedder area so could pick up from either or would consider posting . cheers gav also a mark on the back see photo and small marks on end of headstock .
