4. " On the turning away " off the album A momentary lapse of reason? not quite the era again but still nice.
5. And their kids Brenda and Christopher.
6. So that's what they look like.
7. Hi Mep, yes thats the one i'm looking for, I don't suppose there is a brand name stamped on it (he said clutching at straws). I've be looking at the Markbass holder, might end up getting one of those. I am looking for something that can be used on small stages in pubs etc, I have a normal one when there is a bit more room.
8. I remember seeing these advertised a few years back, they are a guitar stand that plug into a spare channel of your amp and the neck sits in the 'c ' like a normal stand. I have searched all over the net, blowed if I can find them ( if they are still made ). Anybody know if they are still made and where to buy one. Many thanks.
9. Thanks a lot Neil, nice to have met you.
10. Brought a Hartke cab off Neil today, have to say he is a first class chap and pleasure a to deal with, even had a cuppa and put the bass world to rights when we met. Well pleased with the deal. Would do business again with him no problem. Kim
11. Just brought a Badass 2 bridge off lcu1988. No problems at all very easy transaction. Good bloke to do business with.

14.
You have actually tried the Squier and liked it and, for me, that would seal the deal. I would rather purchase a bass that I have felt and thought was right than take a chance on what might turn up through the post.......
+1 I have never brought a bass I had not tried.
15. If all he said in that advert is true then you have got yourself a bargin. Let us know what it plays / sounds like when you get it.
16. Not counting band practice and giging I try to do 1 hour a day, if we are giging that night I try and get at least a hour warm up before I drive to the gig.
17. I've got the same bass as you ( Vintage fretless ) when I was looking to put some new pups on I have always liked the Seymour Duncan in the past so decided to try a set. Did a bit of investigating and decided on a set of SD STK which I managed to get of E-Bay for £70 the set. Well pleased with them, gave that well rounded slightly fat tone but they are really clear, not muddy like some pups get.
18. Pink Floyd Barclay James Harvest Weather Report ( I wish )
19.
Definitely see how the drummer and guitarist feel and tell them how you feel too. You might find they're of a like mind and you just need a new singer. If of course they're fine her then just walk away before it gets ugly. There's nothing sneaky about asking their opinion (well not too much anyway) as you're not trying to spread dissent, just seeing how the land lies. Good luck. As I once posted "bandmates, can't live with them, can't soak them in napalm and watch them melt".
+1 Got to have a word first with guitarist and drummer.
