1. I was thinking of something like this. Forgive poor sketching. A rout from the rear of the body (open to the rear). A Tele type socket which in this position would still be accessible for a normal jack lead. So the SmoothHound would plug in from the edge rather than the rear surface. 2.
You take control. Tell them you'd like to drop the bass off and complete the sale at a time and place, and would they confirm that this is OK by a particular time as there are others interested.
This.
  3.
Do you have the neck cavity dimensions ? Thanks
Edited original post with dimensions.

  6. OK here's the twin version I made a few years ago. Please ignore the player he did that at the request of the bride whos wedding we were playing at. I would also add that it looks OK on a dark stage but the flaws in the finish are very obvious in natural light. Also I used donor necks from Westone basses. I just wouldn't attempt a neck build and having played Kerts single cut and loving the neck I have complete confidence in Andy's ability. This pic has been on the forum before. Watts?

Every time you double the watts you get roughly 3db increase (depending on speaker efficiency) Frequency also comes into it. A weighting or C weighting. So for example ... 100 W makes 100db 200 W makes 103db 400 W makes 106db 800 W makes 109db and so on. If a 1000w SS amp made twice the db of a 100w valve amp it would be well beyond the threshold of pain. Its not dissimilar to engine power over speed.

  19.
We starting at 1 or 2? I will have to be leaving by 3 either way as we are gigging, but first post has suggested time of 1-5 Then underneath "Time wise I suggest starting around 2pm and going on to around 6pm."
Starts at 2pm but if anyone is early that's no problem I will be there all morning anyway.
  20. Yes it's still on. Looking forward to seeing a good crowd.
  21. I use Moog Taurus pedals. When I first started I used to lose my balance but now manage fine. I can't play bass, pedals and sing. Actually I can't sing.
  22.
I'll see if i can get over the bridge that day to support. Just got to check the date.
