Hi how about you check out some Gallien Kreuger kit. Find a second hand RB700 or 1001. Often to be found on Ebay. Item number 120549358650. Plenty of cab options to choose from. 2x10RBH or 4x10RBH. Both horn loaded and use the bi-amp feature of the heads for ultimate control. I am probably a bit biased in my opinion because I have used GK kit for the last five years, starting with an RB400/15 combo (now kept for small practises) and moving to a Fusion 550 hybrid 410 and 210 cabs. Tone range from dub to bright and punchy enough to cut through any mix.

Hi all. G.A.S hits us all but I have come up against a brick wall trying to get what I desire. I would really like to get a Mouradian CS74. If anyone out there has one and would consider selling then please get in touch. Colour and finish are not an issue.

Hi check out a Gallien Kreuger MB150. A quirky little combo with a 12"driver excellent EQ and built in chorus. Small and light enough to carry in one hand but able to play reasonably loud and an extension cab can be added later if desired.

OK no'one has suggested new gear so I will. See if you can try out any Gallien Kreuger heads. I use one. They have a reputation for being tone monsters and have very versatile EQ, especially the "boost". RB 400 RB 700 or bigger. If you can find a used Fusion 550 all the better. This has a tube front end and ss power stage. Normal retail is about £1K ish. I've seen used go for from 500 to 700.

Hi you have the same problem most GK users have with castors. They are just not up to life on the road. Here's an address of an Ebay shop that can supply pretty much any kind of castor you want. MSA WHEELS AND CASTORS LTD. Prices are fair. You probably won't find a direct replacement but it's not too hard to fit them. Cheers Gelfin

Hi, another newbie to this forum. I'm Nic from Cardiff south Wales. Been playing bass again for the last 5 years after a 30 year break. Playing in a three piece doing mostly covers from the sixties up to now. Mainly rock, a bit of pop, anything that we like and people will dance to.
