1. that bass was on with no reserve a few days ago and was only at 600 with 5 days to go! shame he obviously realised it was worth a lot more when he saw the new kings road lot
2. bump
3. just compared the specs of the p basses (classic vs RW) and they're all the same so it is just the looks thats different. These RW basses do seem to sound killer although i cant buy one as the dakota red custom shop i tried has made everything iv played since slightly less enjoyable than they should be.
4. when buying these basses from dealers such as nick guitars you have a bit of protection. As its a registered company it must offer you services and guarantee's that a private seller can get away with not offering. You pay a bit more but feel safer about parting with such an amount of money.
5.
I had one identical! Know who the previous owners were? Lovely bass....best of luck with the sale!
only previous owners i know for definate are molan and psychoandy from here. Although Andy said he bought i from a shop somewhere near Ipswich. Again only selling because i need a car to get the better paid gigs. Also i may consider a trade for a Tanglewood overwater 5 with £950 going my way
6. bump
7.
Don't wear pants or socks. More space saved.
and time ;-)
8. did a short tour in cornwall over the summer. Lessons learnt; fish and chips down there are damm tastey. Also, take swimming shorts as you never know when you will need them and when the time comes that you need them and dont have any.. You either need to pay well over the top for some new ones, buy asda ones that look like they were styled for angus young or wear boxers and casual shorts and be uncomfortable for the rest of the day
9. 35" and weight im unsure of but it feels somewhere between 8 and 9 pounds. Really light for a 5 string!
10. yh im playing on silver slaps, the effect of the rosin is gone within 10-15 minutes of playing
11. just want to know what the recommended usage is. cheers, Ollie
12. bump

16. every time you just come to terms with something in music it unravels something else and after three years of studying at a music college i dont think its possible to ever know everything and successfully use it. If your playing jazz your in for long roadtrip. You need to listen to as much of it as you can as often as you can. Transcribe licks, analyse chord charts and buy mark levine's jazz book of music theory.
17. sweet, cheers warwickhunt
18. iv got the lh 500, a 500 watt 4 ohm amp going through two 112's. Do i connect the 8 ohm inputs on the cabs, or plug both separately into the head at 4 ohm?
19. iv got a mate who did a tour with jedward last year. He never talked to them and really enjoyed the experience
20. i did have the problem with the skin at the top of the nail bleeding however, after lots of hours practising iv become more accurate with my technique and theres no longer a problem
21. i think the mix is great daf. Through my cheap headphones it lacks in bass and is a tiny bit tinny, but when i play it through my moniters the bass is very clear and defined. Unlike mine your bass has great long resonance! the playing by everybody involved was great as well, looks like you've got some talented colleagues

I thought Squier wasn't around until the 80's & originally just made in Japan. So cobblers right?!
i thought the korean models were mid-late 90's? its definately not 70's anyway
23. i use a £20 korg one on my double bass which is great if i need to quickly tune before a practice. Wouldnt use it on a gig though
24. really enjoyed the first song but then for me it went out of my ears' comfort zone
25. i loved it when jay z did the back in black riff at glasto. One of my all time favourite moments. The sound you've managed is wicked though, im guessing its a home studio? if so your one lucky bugger
