1. Just adding my thanks to all those people who`s efforts made a great day for everyone.Without them ,these events would not happen. So congratulations on providing a wonderful day.I personally met some really great people , heard some great rigs , got to see other people`s beautiful basses and learnt loads. Can`t wait for the next one!!!!!!!
2.
I'm not entirely sure who 'Nathan' is but man that's fantastic!
Just watched it! Very nice ..............................
3.
??? This really is a steal. Yamaha TRBs are lovely basses.
+1
4. just a thought! Are you very happy with all other aspects of your dean 6`er?It`s just that at the mo there are some nice ready to wear 6`er examples for sale in market section which may well be the answer instead of chasing unknown combinations on your dean. I recently kept the original pups on my TRB 5 P but stuck an Aguilar three band eq with great results. Maybe your eq needs a look at! good luck with your quest. regards
5. I`m abroad for a while so can`t deal with any sudden sales demands( If They happen).Be back about 3rd Oct. P.S If it`s a nailed on sale farnborough can be entertained.
6.
Possibly take this on payday at the end of the month. You travel near Farnborough during your commute? Just off the M3. Ta. Ben
I`ll keep the ad open to others meantime. regards
7.
Do the 2 x 5" drivers work Jon?
As far as i can tell .They move freely without that `grating` which normally signifies coil touble.
8. Very functional bit of kit. Does` what it says on the can`.A couple of lights missing on first two 20hz sliders but this does not affect performance.2 X 31 band graphic .Has other filters etc ,cheap entry level EQ system.Rear panel has both jack connectors and XLR. I don`t want to get involved with shipping but can drop off anywhere en route between brighton and s/w london , for a serious buyer,as i drive this daily.Could also possibly consider home counties as i do deliver around there within my day job. I would now like £25 for the unit.
9. A good deal for someone! Always well built reliable gear. Very keenly priced!
10. This is a part rescue of an ailing cab .It`s a 2 X 10 cab with two 5inch speakers. The only ailing part is that the rear attenuator does not seem to make a lot of difference,(maybe thats my old ears) ,(could be defective pot or crossover, although subsequently a previous owner tells me he did change pot.So could be a lot simpler). However I have put two new peavey 10 inch bass speakers in (same as tx type). The previous trace 10 inch ones were knackered!! So it works absolutely fine as a straight 2 x 10! All I want to do is to break even on parts and stuff so I would like £85 for it.I will not do shipping but I`m willing to drop off to serious buyer.I drive daily between brighton and SW london so anywhere on route would be fine.I also deliver in home counties a lot (as part of my day job)so that could be considered. Also I`m keen for buyer to make sure it (as above) works to their satisfaction before they part with cash. Take no notice of back plate as it states 8 ohm but it now has two 8 ohm speakers in parallel which is a definate 4 ohms!
11. About 15 years ago ,for a period of some 4 months i gigged with a set up of two Bose 802cabs with Bose 302 bass bin coupled to the Bose controller 802c.A very worthy pa system! but it sounded incredible with mm sabre and mm sr5.Very little colouration and hi fi like quality. Also loads of headroom when powered by 2 x 1000 watt amps ................. weird that! I think huey lewis`s bass player used something like this for a while!
12. I can`t decide if this is a good deal or not.On the face of it it sounds good but could cost a bit in servicing ............... you be the judge .................. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Eden-CXC400-4-x-10-B...id=p3286.c0.m14
13.
Cris de Man, Eden amps give a great combination of tone and power. They are rather more clean sounding than most but still sound full and uncoloured. You'll probably find you hardly have to touch the tone controls to get a good sound I've had my WT800c since christmas and I know I will be heard in any gig, In fact the 500 would be enough for most of the gigs I do. The DI sound is fantastic for recording. Last two sessions the Engineers have not really EQ'd the sound at all Highly recommend them. cheers Fran
+1 to all above!
14. Well worth a look .I love these basses and you`re getting a lot of great quality for your money. good luck with the sale!
15.
Good idea (mailing Bernie that is)... Andy
He already knows ................... I was talking to him about it this last weekend. What a beautiful bass though!!!
16. Blimey ,that really was quick replies!!!
17.
Schaller strap locks have been the first thing I've done to new basses for at least 15 years. Won't play a bass out the bedroom without em.
+1 to above
18.
Is the combo a definite 2 man lift job? BB
as you can see I have one.I lift this by myself ..................... Its not easy but you will manage.Going up a lot of stairs might test you though! The weight is a consideration but this is far outwon by the sheer class of the combo. So advice time.............. get yourself a wheeled `dolly` board/skate and definately don`t put it on your charm bracelet. hope this helps happy metro owner
19. blimey .............. not a bad deal for a complete rig!
20. A second hand musicman ( 4 or 5 string) will often be got for your budget and there`s a good chance you can get to try one first! these normally have good mwaah factor! hope this helps good luck
21.
The Spectrums aren't as good as the Thunder series (which are very good indeed). It's worth watching ebay as you'll get a much better Thunder for less that the price of that Spectrum
+1 on the above `thunder` series is really the one to consider. good luck !

Peavey gear

Have a look in the for sale section .................... 1 X 15 black widow cab for £60 .......... Bargain!! It`s not mine, just noticed it though ... hope it might help!
23. Worth having a look at is the `beeps` rig for sale currently .Eden metro combo plus Eden 2 x 10 xlt cab for £800.More power, more versatile and much better value than your prospective purchase if you can strech that couple of hundred quid further. As a metro owner myself i cant praise these combos high enough!!
