1. It's not very well known but he is actually an immense jazzer.
 2. Go into a body shop and give them some beer money to get them to polish it with a mop.
 3. Nirvana was special too. Not a fan of their music. But what they did was really important. In a sea of bubblegum pop sh1tness, they made guitars and independent music cool again.
 4. Frank Sinatra? What's he got to do with things?
 5.
Still, you wouldn't want to be living next door to most geniuses. As a species they seem to very difficult people to get along with.
It's the guys that think they are geniuses and are difficult people to get along with - they're the ones to watch!
 6.
just to remind you Blue, I am the OP, and have never said any of those things, I am a fan of Macca. Please check back to who you are referring to
Perhaps the O stands for oblivious in the world of blue?
 7. I freakin' love his vocals on Baywatch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Add_M-eau8U
 8.
Is blue Inti?
No, he's Jeff Berlin.
 9. The best P bass is the one that you play which feels right and sounds right to you. Anything else really doesn't matter.
 10.
Is that real?
11.
Ahhh but..... Mark King or Flea?
Neither http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmQvxfo75K0
 12. How's that brew looking? That mug must be ready to be filled by now, surely?
 13.
I have been fortunate enough to end up with a couple since then...it's just not as easy these days.
Ooh, invited into a threesome? Good work that man.
 14.
I'm glad you made this point. I'm not sure that you had made your feelings sufficiently clear previously....
Well I know I missed it.
 15.
I'm not
Eat some more pies then.
 16.
The youtube comments on Jaco clips read like this thread. Right old racket imo, Ray Brown could have farted a more melodic tune than Portrait of Tracy!
Youtube comments? I must have missed the bit where nazi, hitler, gays and paedophiles were mentioned.
 17.
Justify it anyway you want. I still find the comment ignorant and offensive.
18. I'm confused, I thought he played guitar?
 19. Man, some people need a good mug of calm the feck down.
 20.
I have been listening to eiter FM or digital radio for a long time now. Recently i heard some old medium wave radio and could not believe how poor the sound used to be.
Have you not heard how poor the sound of most digital radio stations are - especially when compared to their FM counterparts...?
 21. The Bond chord... And the chord that isn't a chord - The missing chord from Her Majesty at the end of Abbey Road.
 22. Join the party at In Ear Monitors - help needed... for info!
 23.
Oooh.. GLD Sadly I've never had the pleasure but I thumbed through the catalogue when they came out a few years back. I may have salivated a little as I thought it looked a far more slick and 'finished' in comparison to the iLive setup. I've had a look round the iLive (T112?) when I dealt with the support band for 'Fozzy' as their engineer used one (I was on an LS-9 at the time) but felt a little underwhelmed by the british product sadly..
They are lovely - certainly more user friendly than the LS9. I used it pretty much exclusively for a couple of years... and it's a really well thought out console. The only thing that I find is a bit of a shame is that you can't track to USB like the QU - you can only map a mixed output to it - e.g. L/R . For full track by track out, the Dante solution is super (although paying extra for the card is a bit of a bind!) - just plug the ethernet into your computer, load up reaper and hit record. Nice - but not quite as practical as a USB out. For quick mixes and recording on the move, I tend to just use my DL32R now, it's just a lot lighter and easier to lug around... - my GLD spends most it's time in the flightcase now.
 24. Sounds interesting... How would you say the tracking compares to the original?
 25. Ha! Seems like we were all typing!
