  1. I like the look of the small pole showing through. Suppose I could just get small hole covers. Actually just looking at them it wouldn’t work as the covers are cut exactly around the poles.
  2. I've a couple of Maruszczyk Jake 5 stringers, one is a P/J (not sure of the pickups but they have small poles) and the other is P/MM with large pole Delano pickups. I love everything about this second bass (the red one) except for the large pole pieces. They look terrible (to me). Is there a set of modern sounding P/MM 5 string passive pickups that anyone can recommend as I can't find any online or in stores?
  3. As I go to Hastings every couple of weeks that might be easier. Many thanks
  4. Setup in Sussex - Does anyone know where I can get my double bass setup in the Sussex area (preferably, though I'll include south London or the south-east )? I've googled but can't find anyone who isn't the other end of the country.
  5. Setup in Sussex - Just found this post and as it's relevant to my question I thought I'd ask here (rather than start yet another post). Does anyone know where I can get my double bass setup in the Sussex area (preferably, though I'll include the south-east or south London)? I've googled but can't find anyone who isn't the other end of the country.
  6. I've a Suitcase and a C8 that I use exclusively nowadays. I'm in Buxted, about 40 minutes from Sevenoaks, and you're welcome to come and try it if you want.
  7. 5 patch leads (4 the same, 1 different - not Boss though) and a daisy chain electric connector.
  8. I've 2 Maruszczyk Jake 5's. Both chambered and both around 7lbs in weight. Both perfect.
  9. Includes postage
  10. Only a few months old and barely used. Holds 3 pedals. Boss ones slot straight in but I have made 3 small holes in the base for ties to hold non-Boss pedals in place.
  11. I bought this as I wanted to get rid of a load of pedals and just have one easy to use multi. I've now realised that I actually really only want a straight into the amp setup and no pedals (except a tuner), so even this wonderful piece of equipment is not going to be used. It does have some velcro on the bottom but is in otherwise pretty excellent condition. Price includes postage.
  12. I bought this a couple of months ago from Thomann hoping to mix the volumes from my double bass pickup (which already has one of these fitted) with a magnetic pickup fitted to the end of the fingerboard. Unfortunately it only works with acoustic bass pickups, not magnetic ones, so my loss is your gain.
  13. I have two Maruszczyk Jake 5's (a P/J and a P/MM) and they both weigh only 7lbs (they are both chambered - not all of them are), which is why I bought them. They look 'traditional', so if you don't want something 'modern' looking that might be the way to go.
