  1. How's that blender holding up Vs the Tyler? I've been intrigued by the Tyler for ages, and most recently for modulation type effects rather than dirt tbh. I wish gigrig would add the blend control on the G3 rather than just 50:50
  2. How's the MERIS mercury 7? I keep being tempted by it but I'm struggling to justify the increase in cost Vs my TC HOF which I've managed to dial in to where I'm happy recently. Really Nice board. ✌️
  3. Replaced the war pig with a does it doom walpurgis. Spaced everything a touch more. Very happy. Probably now set with it to record my bands next album
  4. Has anyone directly compared a euro5lx and a dimension 5? Interested in any differences I own a euro and thinking about adding a dimension to the collection. Less likely if they're very very similar though. Thanks 😎 Also Happy new year!
  5. Man your tone was ace at balstock, surprised you changed it up. Hopefully hear your rig again come the new year ✌️
  6. How's the blooper? Are you running everything with a bit of clean blend now?
  7. That's a well stripped back set up! I've just started looking at 5 string acoustic basses - I have a gear for music 5er at the moment that I have lying around the house and bought for an impromptu acoustic gig. I'd be interested if you could get the brand as they seem a difficult thing to come by.
  8. How do you use the typer? Is it integrated with the switcher? I'm keen to perhaps use one but can't work out how to integrate it with my G3 atom.
  9. I keep messing around with reverb pedals and got to a point where, having cycled through a few high end (h9, big sky, blue sky, Ventris, walrus R1, etc) I'd decided to give up with it. That said, I really need it for a part I've written on my bands album and having delved back into the reverb world have ended up with a TC HOF 2. Took it straight to rehearsal last night and to my surprise i got a tone out of it, very quickly, nearly exactly what was in my head. So it's a keeper and I'm really really happy. It's a wonderful sounding and really straight forward pedal. So here's last night's board...I need to squeeze the mbd2 back in there once I've velcrod and cabled properly. I think it's finished again....
  10. Sold an amp to Emmett. Great transaction, top Comms and would happily transact again buying or selling. Deal with confidence. Best, Andy
  11. @pantherairsoft ... Not sure if you're in the market?
  12. Just added a matamp GT150 to my rig! Haven't valved it yet but will do later tonight. Switchable power on the back from 150w to 75w and custom face plate. Can't wait to get it cranked. As ever the guys at matamp have been ace. Top top people.
  13. Small changes to my board, but I dropped the reverb and just use the spring in the volante. I want to use complex reverb pedals but having been through a load, I'm not sure they ever quite work for me properly in my bands context. Not sure how many people use a treble booster here, but the war pig is brilliant. I used it through a cranked amp the other night and it really was wonderful. Anyway, this will be my board for a while now. I don't use the G3 to its fullest, but it opens the volante up for me and makes transitions really easy. I still kinda feel my boards a bit big in footprint....ah well. Stick for now 🙂

Specifications POWER - 9v in / 9v 550 mA Isolated out PLUG - 2.1mm Centre Neg WEIGHT - 0.05kg / 0.1lbs DIMENSIONS - 8cm x 2cm x 4cm / 3.15" x 0.79" x 1.57"
  15. Managed to have a loud rehearsal tonight as our singer couldn't get fuel...so we took advantage. So nice to open the amp up properly with a lot of speakers. Tonal nirvana for 2.5 hours.
  16. Been on and off of my board for years. In good condition, Velcro on the bottom. Great tool for home noodling, writing or drone/ambient. Looking for cleared funds and happy to post. Any questions drop me a line. Cheers
  17. Serious question, how do you use this set up? ..cabs..application...bi amping etc etc. What a rack!!
  18. Played my first gig out of lockdown with Gévaudan, with the great honour of sharing a stage with @simon88wilson's band Black Atlas during the charity Weekender in Baldock. Top band they are and whilst we're on tone, Si's absolutely filled the place. So much groove and headbanging to those guys. Well worth checking out. I had definitely forgotten a number of things since regular pre lockdown gigging...speed of set up, gig fitness, how dark the stage is, how small lighting provides even more blind spots and small stage spaces. great to be making some racket again and feel like it dated the cobwebs off ahead our next outing in October.
  19. Well I'm sad to report that apparently they don't anymore. Which is baffling as they did 2 nights ago.
  20. Selling as I've found this is waaay too much reverb for my apparent need. The R1 is such an easy pedal to use, dial in and save presets. Small footprint, full midi capability and nice latch function. I don't think there's many (if any) pedals out there with this power and footprint. There's Velcro on the bottom but in great condition with box and all the gubbins. Owned from new for the last 3 months or so. Any questions drop me a line, happy to post by agreement, feedback in the feedback thread. Cheers Programs Spring - The Spring program emulates an excited spring reverb commonly found in tube amps with loads of transducing drip. Easily go from subtle to full-on surf rock. Experiment with the decay knob to get more than average amounts of reverb not found in traditional amp spring reverb tanks. X knob adds a warm grit to the reverb decay. Hall - The Hall program provides the acoustics of large live sound spaces like concert halls to arenas. Longer decays and higher X knob settings result in a massive wash of ambiance. Shorter decay and lower X settings allow for a more intimate reverb expression. X knob controls the room's size; smaller at lower settings to larger room sizes as you increase X. Plate – The Plate program emulates a smooth analog plate reverb with nice even diffusion inspired by famous plates like the EMT 140. X knob adds in gentle warm grit to the front end of the program simulating driving a hot signal into the plate. BFR - BFR is a no holds barred, big, f____, reverb. This is more than a giant arena reverb. It's a hall-esque reverb with rich and lush decay in a vast cavern filled with choirs of angels. X knob controls the amount of diffusion applied to the multi-tap delays used to form the program. At lower X settings, you'll hear these delays bouncing around for a more textured sound. As you increase the X knob, the delays are diffused, creating a smooth texture, and lifting your riffs and chords into the atmosphere. See ya. RFRCT (Refract) - The RFRCT program allows for lovely, charming, and glitch-like textures hovering over a largely diffused reverb. The Rate controls on RFRCT change how often the glitch effects occur while Depth controls the overall volume of the glitch effect. X knob is used to shape the tone of the glitch effect. At zero, the glitch effect will have a lo-fi, almost tape-like sound to them. Increasing the X knob brightens these elements with more pristine details. Air - The Air program offers a larger diffused reverb with a subtle shimmer but has a more “crisp” clarity to its decay. Explore slow-building sounds that don’t get in the way of your playing. Air complements keys and synths as well. X knob controls the amount of the wind and shimmer elements in the Air program. At zero the effect will be off. Turning clockwise will increase the volume of the air effect.
  21. Dropped to £350 now Hi, I acquired this in a trade about a year or so ago....might be longer as lockdown seems to skew my memory these days. Since owning it, I've used it at home only for practice and a bit of home recording. It's got a few superficial marks that I've tried to capture, but in great working order and sounds really really nice. Reason for the sale is I'm looking to get another all valver. Sale includes the amp, soft case and user manual. Features are noted below together with a few pics. I can meet in and around Wellingborough, bedford, Stevenage areas. Also happy to post subject to agreeing the rate and method. Any questions drop me a line. I have feedback in the feedback thread.
