1.
They used to but people were always complaining about the Meerkat handles.
2. Thanks guys, will Alex send me a Meerkat too ? I thought long & hard before ordering my cab,I really like my GB cab but I have a long standing knee injury which makes it awkward for me to carry it. said GB cab will be in the for sale section once the BB2 arrives.
3.
I wouldn't worry , it's all part of the suspense & excitement ....It's all carefully planed I reckon
Ah now I see
4. Thanks for the replies guys I appreciate it,you have put my mind at rest looking forward to trying out my Big Baby 2 once it arrives.
5. Yesterday morning I ordered a cab from Barefaced & paid my deposit. I got a confirmation email from PayPal but haven't heard anything from Barefaced,no email, nothing. I have emailed & sent a Facebook message, still no reply. should I be worried or is this normal.
6. You Could always buy my Pro Series Corvette 4 string in the for sale section (Shameless plug)
7.
sure you don't wanna sell the streamer ;-) glwts
haha. Cheeky.
8. This Lovely bass is now back up for sale as I have just bought a Barefaced cab & need to recoup some cash back.
9. Typical of my luck I just ordered a new one not 10 minutes before you listed this
10. Trade deal for my Genz Benz NX2-212 & £200 cash ? please ignore I just ordered a new one
11.
given you had none when I popped up to buy your old amp with my warwick.... am I partly responsible for this? :-D
Lol you maybe are Luke 😊 But I have always liked Warwicks & have owned some in the past, guess I forgot just how much I like them.
12. Lol the streamer is definitely the more versatile bass of the two but the thumb is just so damn punchy. I reckon you need both.
13. Now I recognise that bass 😁 It sure is a beauty & sounds killer too.
14. my little collection of Warwick Pro Series basses
15.
Have you gigged the bass much yet? How's it doing? Are you able to get plenty of volume and good tone?
Yes it's done 4 gigs so far,has a lovely deep tone & is very feedback resresistant. I've never had so much volume so easily & it is so much easier to play than my Strunal was. I couldn't be happier.
16.
well done! Didnt see any naturals just black. Like tge look of the neck throughs. whats the difference between the sreamer lx and the stage 1 nt with pj pups? Apart from NT and about £100 of course
cheers the Stage One NT should be a very nice bass too,i think the only difference is just that it is a neck through instead of a bolt on,get it bought
17.
Really interested in these now. But thumb v streamer that's the question. Love a PJ but thumb seems to be the quintessential Warwick. Are they murder for neckdive on a strap? Andy Irvine seems to play them on his left leg when seated which I don't think I'd like
I actually have 3 of them now as I bought the last natural finish streamer LX4 that thomann had 😁 the streamer is definitely more versatile than the thumb & has a more mellow traditional sound but I love all 3 of my basses. all of Them balance on the strap perfectly fine,I haven't noticed any neck dive at all, although I use a fairly wide strap.
18. here's some fat bloke slapping his poor Duke bass
19.
That's about 35 minutes away if ya want me to have a look at it I've gigs on Thursday & Friday nights but the weekend is free There's also an instrument repairer in Harrogate who did Artisan's sound post a few weeks ago, I've forgotten his name
Andrew's Violins
20. this is the little blighter http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200613316399?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT very simple but very effective tail piece mounting too.
21. So I bought a cheapo J Tone pickup off eBay just as an emergency backup,it arrived yesterday so I put on my bass, through my fdeck to try it out. what a suprise, although the output is lower than my usual pickup it gave a really nice warm, mellow tone, kind of my bass but louder,I kid you not. I honestly expected it to sound sh*te instead it sounds very good indeed & for the measly sum of £28
22. Had the same thing when my Duke arrived, luckily my local luthier sorted it out straight away for me.
23.
You got any pictures of this chap?
just a couple of crap mobile phone pics, hope they are ok.
