Edit: - £400.00 cash on collection .... now that's a silly price & well worth a drive to lovely Harrogate This is a lovely bass in mint as new condition, finished in chocolate satin, comes with a very nice Gibson hard case. Currently set up with Pyramind flat wound strings but will also come with the original almost unused round wounds too. The only reason i am selling this beautiful bass is that my main bass is the usual 34" scale & i find swapping between that & the 30.5" of the Gibson a little awkward. I already have my eye on something else so this bass may be withdrawn if that one is sold. Cash on collection preferred please, cheers. Hi,no one seems interested in Warwick basses on here, trust me i know I would not expect to sound the same as the German made models maily due to the different woods used in their construction, although i would think they will still be very good instruments in their own right,my Pro Corvette is very nice indeed. I would expect the new German Pro Series Thumb bass to be pretty close the a German one though. The quality of the Pro series seems very high especially at the silly prices Thomann are selling them for.

I have a chocolate satin one, great bass & very light indeed,Fenders can only dream about the punch these badies have.
I've just ordered a Gibson Bass .... Whoops sorry nothing to see here but tumbleweed and the sound the wind .... I'll get me coat
you're lucky its not a Warwick, you'd be here all alone like i was Lol
-
Fenders - middle of the road someone said. Best place for 'em lol You know i'm really enjoying this thread, you can't beat a wee chuckle. Well done guys
It's American for wheel arch, isn't it?...Don't know why anyone would be talking about that on here!?
best use for one most likley
-
Well at least it livened up my dead NBD thread
-
I only give my threads 21 hours to get a response too. Then they must be destroyed.
lol this place seems to be turning into "Fenderchat" no other makes will be tolerated
-
its not a fender so of no interest to anyone but me it seems. oh well never mind

This should be listed in the for sale section mate & there is a fee to pay for adverts. Just saying
It should be pretty good in sounds. I almost think the heavier Nitro Heritage finish dulls the more clear sound. The faded SG Basses I've played, had great sound ranges of highs, and LOWS. For about half the price too, with the same pups, and case too.
+1 I had the posh full gloss cherry model a couple of years ago but found it a little dull sounding, where my satin chocolate bass sounds bloody great.

I just got on just the same & it's lovely.
-
cheers for all the replies guys after reading all your comments i have decided not to buy the passive (he's decided to keep it anyway) & to go for an active bass instead. so i just pulled the trigger on a new Pro Series Corvette from Thomann at a silly price as they have been discontinued so cleared out. brand new Korean Warwick for £570.00 ---- just crazy not too. cheers.
-
i had a Streamer LX4 & while it was a great bass to play i just couldn't get on with the shape of it,i always thought it was an ugly bass, each to their own i guess. But i do indeed have a fat belly
-
thanks for the replies i can't decide to go with the passive one or just get my hands on an active model as they seem to have a passive setting too,so best of both worlds.
-
So i know someone who is selling one of these pretty cheap but it is a long drive to go get it which, i can't be bothered to do,so would get him to ship it,so no chance to try before i buy. I have owned 3 Warwicks in the past but they were all active basses but i have never actually played a fully passive Warwick before. Have any of you guys owned or played one & if so was it as good as i think it will be. Ta
I like the look of your bass matey...... I mean its not black, but its the next best thing
lol hi Chris, sorry i only just noticed you had posted ....dohhh i do like the blue myself it just needs some white edging on the f-holes & frame edges. -

Price drop - new price £120.00 + post i am selling my K&K system as i am now using a Blast Cult Channel Blaster system. it is the same as this system http://kksound.com/p...assmasterrb.php in mint condition, bought new by me in October 2013. works a treat & really brings out the slap, perfect for rockabilly, bluegrass or any style that requires slap/click. the 2 channel mixer has a handy belt clip (i actually hung it from my trouser pocket) so mid song adjustments are a doddle, with each channel having its own master volume, gain, bass, mid & treble controls, which allow a very good range of sounds to be easily dialled in. comes with a 6 foot stereo TRS lead. i have the instructions & all the other gubbings that came with it but seem to have lost the original box,but i'm sure i can find suitable packaging materials,or you are more than welcome to collect. cheers.
