5. awesome amount of bass for so little money, well bought sir. having just discovered Ibanez SR basses for myself i can't believe how good they are,how did i miss them all these years.
 6. many thanks for the comments guys, look like i made a popular choice i really like this bass,it sounded good in the shop but at my gig last night i used it in the last 3 songs (i play DB in a rockabilly/country band) & it sounded just mega through my GB rig, loved it. i can't believe i found a 5 string i can actually play,in fact i like it so much that i'm selling all my 4 string basses & sticking with 5's. as mentioned above the neck on this bass is sublime,it feel even better than the neck i had on a boutique custom bass a while back, love it. oh i love the gold hardware too
 7. i nipped into PMT Leeds yesterday, just for a browse. had a play on a few basses that took my eye,the 1st of which was said Ibanez. i just loved it to bits,it just blew anything else i tried into the weeds. i never jelled with a 5 string until now but have no problem with this bass at all,it plays & sounds really nice. build quality it exceptional & it is well spec'd,a very good buy for the money. it even has Nordstrand Big Singles Love it. i must say its a while since i have been into PMT & i was pleasantly suprised, that staff were very helpful + they had a very good selecton of basses too. 14.
Just to add a bit of reassurance, I have bought 3 cabs from Barefaced and it has been a bit of a wait each time but I am very pleased with the end product
thanks Graham I can't wait to hear my DB through it
 15.
Thanks Muzz. It's more the high volume with double bass that has me intrigued.
I would think it'll be good,I have no problem with my 212 so can't see why a 112 would be. unless you know something about these
 16.
Let me know if you want to compare it with one of my Compacts at one of your gigs or rehearsals.
thanks Kirky, very kind of you good sir
 17.
I'm looking forward to hearing how well it works with your Duke. Curious how well it will do high volume.
I will be sure to write a review once I have gigged it. Alex is very sure it will cope fine I will just need to crank my master volume a bit more. either way my knee will thank me when I sell the NX2-212
