1.
This. they're just the latest flavour of the month on here. 12 months time the marketplace will be full of them while people all rush to get the next best thing ever.
Yes, there is a lot of history of this type of thing on here... but unless you've tried one of these basses you wouldn't understand what the "hype" is about. I borrowed WoT's PJ for a while and used it in a band situation as well as plenty of home noodling. It is a fantastic bass and I would have bought it like a shot - but the pickup placing and colours weren't quite right for me, and I can get one made to my own preferences for only a couple of hundred quid more! It's a total no-brainer! People who own and play Fenders (right up to and including Custom Shop models), Seis, Sadowskys and other top-quality "boutique" basses are raving about the quality of the Maruszczyk range, and marvelling at the prices. Of course, it's helped by a very favourable Sterling-Euro conversion rate, but still - the quality of a boutique handmade bass for the price of a MIM Fender?? Crazy.
 2.
I feel reluctant to let my BB2 go...
Well, I'll be passing through Edinburgh in about ten days time if you change your mind...
 3.
Damn, the LM3 sounds sweet through a pair of these S112s! It seems that the LM3 is better suited to the S112 than the Streamliner was. It even seems louder somehow!
My LM2 is certainly very "rich" in its midrange - and it would seem that mids are what the S112s specialise in. I guess they just work well together
 4.
Jamaican music is a very important part of 1960s UK youth culture and it is seen by many as in total opposition to rock. Skinhead versus hippy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0Bjl2x1ZMw
 5.

I have seen the future... BTW Jose, how have you connected the cabs to get a total load of 8 ohms? I would have thought it would have been 2?!
 6. Edward just bought a pair of Bergantino cabs from me. He put up with a lot of my dithering, whilst maintaining excellent communications. Cash on delivery and a mutually convenient meet-up in York. An excellent deal with a top bloke - highly recommended
 7. Not that he needs it, but some more positive feedback for Jose. Just bought his Barefaced Compact (after some very complex three-way communications and a number of other possibilities!). Cab exactly as described, at a very fair price, and delivered very locally to me. Excellent deal, great comms and highly recommended
 8.
Four of these are still a very compact solution,
Especially if stacked vertically
 9. Typical. I buy a BF Compact (with a view to possibly getting a second one) and then this comes up!
 10.
Quite right too - BF Compact is pretty much the only cab you'll ever need. unless of course you want to run two of them.…...
You've been reading my mind!
 11. Great job guys! It would have been great if someone with some Bergantino cabs had been available - particularly as these seem to be the standard to which all others are compared at the moment.
 12.

Isn't that Jose's current set-up? Didn't the rest of you bring any cabs?
 13.
If interested... on this one you get free personal delivery
Aha! Just when I thought I'd settled on the idea of a pair of TKS S112s!!
 14. Don't you use this with a Big Baby Jose? How do you find the combination? The reason I ask is that there is a BB for sale too and the though of using both interests me...
 15. Withdrawn (at least for the time being)
 16. On hold pending...
 17. No worries Karl The way you both go through gear they'll all be on the market again in a few weeks...
 18. I feel like I've been gazzumped.... is that the word? Might you sell your Barefaced cabs then Jose?
 19.
Beware, Jose was still on at 3am, he may be a tad grumpy
He's not responded yet, so maybe he's fallen asleep
 20. Stop it you two, you're confusing me! I want a pair of S112s - but if yours aren't for sale Karl, then I want Jose's red 1126s! Now I just need to sell my Bergs...
 21.
I just think the red colour may put some people off...
Yip. But if they'd been purple...
 22. Been listening to this track a lot today. Absolutely fecking awesome! One of the most haunting videos I have ever seen and the music is simply beautiful. Reminiscent of a meeting between Air and Scott Walker... Maybe a bit of Mogwai thrown in too?
 23. Like a tree falling in a forest, if nobody notices you "vanish", have you really vanished? At first I misread the OP title as "would you buy varnish from Basschat?". I'm sure I'm becoming dyxlexsic in my old age...
